Boulder, March 24 – Liz Marr, Marr Barr co-founder
and principal, was recently appointed to a
one-year term on the Boulder County Food and
Agriculture Policy Council. Established by
the Boulder County Commissioners in 2008, the Council's purpose
is to create and
strengthen connections between Boulder County
communities and local food and agriculture.

the public relations manager in Democrat Stephen
Bershenyi campaign’s for Garfield County
District 2 commissioner. Active in local politics,
Barr recently served as a precinct delegate
in the Garfield County Democratic caucuses.
Liz Marr elected to lead Food and
Culinary Professionals Dietetic
Practice Group
Longmont, March 15, 2008 – Marr Barr co-founder
and principal Liz Marr, MS, RD, was recently
elected to serve as the 2009-2010 chair of
the Food and Culinary Professionals (FCP)
Dietetic Practice Group of the American Dietetic
Association. Marr has served on the FCP executive
board for the past three years as chair of
industry partnerships. With more than 2,100
members, FCP’s mission is to develop food
expertise throughout the profession of dietetics.
